“… But it’ll NEVER work for me!”
This one sentence is always running though your customer’s head.
And it’s a buzzkill. A total buy blocker.
How do you get around it?
Use stories from people they can relate to!
Find examples of people who’ve taken you up on your offer and succeeded. Match “where they were” and “where they are” with where your prospect is and wants to be.
This plants seeds of possibility. “Maybe it WILL work for me… it worked for Sarah, and she was in the same position as me!”
